Although Bistro le Clochard offers seasonal specialties and the menu has been adapted in the thirty years of its existence, some characteristic gastronomic principles have always remained the same. The Swiss-French dishes, including some of the classics like the fondues, the famous La Potence dish, the Veau à la Zurichoise and the entrecote Café de Paris have always been on the menu and will always be there.

Chef Piet van Ham as well as his predecessors have all earned their credits, working for exquisite European establishments. Bistro le Clochard's wine list is still the most elaborate one on the island. And last but far from least, the restaurant keeps distinguishing itself by the quality of its cuisine as well as its service and warm atmosphere: Freddy Berends and Ghislain Berends will always welcome you in a warm and friendly way.
